This Privacy Policy explains what information BeloPle ("we", "us") collects when you use the BeloPle app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information: username, email address, password (stored encrypted), display name, bio, and profile photo.
• Signup details: country, city, and interests you choose during sign-up, used to personalize your feed and the content and ads you see.
• Content you create: videos, photos, captions, comments, sounds, and messages (including photos and voice notes) you send to other users.
• Usage information: videos you watch, likes, follows, searches, and general app activity, used to power your feed and improve the app.
• Device and log information: basic technical data (such as browser type and IP address) used for security and troubleshooting.
• Payment and gifting information: coin balance, gifts sent or received, and payout details for creators who qualify for monetization. We do not store full card numbers.
• Push notifications: if you enable them, we use your device's notification subscription to send you alerts about likes, comments, follows, gifts, and messages.

How we use your information

• To operate and improve BeloPle's core features: feeds, uploads, messaging, notifications, and search.
• To personalize the videos, accounts, and — where applicable — ads shown to you, based on your interests, location, and activity.
• To detect and prevent abuse, spam, and violations of our community guidelines.
• To process gifts, coins, and creator payouts.
• To communicate with you about your account or important changes to the service.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

• With other users, to the extent you choose to make it public (profile, videos, posts, comments) or private (direct messages, only with the recipient).
• With infrastructure providers who host and store data on our behalf (such as Cloudflare, for hosting, storage, and content delivery), under contracts that limit their use of it to providing that service.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of BeloPle or its users.

Cookies and local storage

BeloPle uses local storage and a service worker on your device to keep you signed in, remember your recent searches, and let parts of the app work offline. These stay on your device and are not shared with third parties for advertising purposes beyond what's described above.

Your choices

• You can edit your profile information, make your account private, and control who can message you at any time in Settings.
• You can delete individual videos, photos, or comments you've posted.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings — this permanently removes your videos, photos, and profile information. How to delete your account sets out the steps and what is kept.
• You can turn push notifications on or off at any time.

Children's privacy

BeloPle is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll let you know through the app or by other reasonable means.
