Terms of Service

BeloPle — Last updated: October 2026

These Terms are the agreement between you and BeloPle ("we", "us") for the BeloPle app and website. By creating an account or using BeloPle, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use BeloPle.

Who can use BeloPle

• You must be at least 13 years old. We ask for your date of birth when you sign up, and an account we learn belongs to somebody younger will be removed.
• Going Live, sending and receiving gifts, buying coins and cashing out are for people aged 18 and over.
• You must give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your password to yourself. What happens on your account is your responsibility.
• One person, one account. Accounts created to impersonate somebody else, to evade a ban, or to inflate views, likes or gifts will be removed.

Your content stays yours

You keep ownership of the videos, photos, sounds, live broadcasts, captions and comments you post. By posting them you give us permission to store them, show them to other people on BeloPle, and include them in feeds, search and recommendations — which is what makes the app work. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other people have already saved or shared.

What you may not post

• Content that is sexual in nature involving anybody under 18, in any form. This is reported to the authorities, not merely removed.
• Threats, harassment, or content that encourages violence or self-harm.
• Content that is not yours to post — somebody else's video, music or photos without their permission.
• Spam, scams, and anything sold or advertised that is illegal where you are.
• Impersonating another person, brand or organisation.

We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules. Where we can, we say why.

Copyright and music

• Post only what you made yourself, or what you have the right to use. Somebody else's video, film, photos or song — re-uploaded, downloaded from another app, or with your name put on it — is not yours to post, even if you credit them.
• Earnings are for your own content. Gifts and view earnings on content that is not yours to post can be withheld or reversed, and that content removed.
• If you own something posted on BeloPle without your permission, tell us on the copyright page. You do not need an account. We look at every claim and tell you what we decided.
• When we remove something because of a copyright claim, the account that posted it receives a strike. An account with repeated strikes is closed.
• If your content was removed and you believe it is yours, write to support@belople.com with what shows it, and we will look again.
• Artists. Songs on BeloPle Music are free for everybody to use in their videos. An artist BeloPle has verified can mark their own songs as paid: they then receive a share of what BeloPle keeps from gifts on videos that use them. The creator of the video always keeps their full share.

BeloPle Cinema

Cinema is where long films and series are shared. The start of a film can be watched free; its maker may ask for coins to watch the rest. These rules apply to everyone who uploads or watches a film.

• Only what is yours. Upload a film only if you made it, or the person who owns it gave you permission in writing to share it and to earn from it on BeloPle. Before every upload you confirm this, and you accept these rules.
• Dubbed and narrated films need the permission of the film's owner, not only the narrator's. Adding your voice, subtitles or a translation does not make somebody else's film yours.
• Copyright claims. If the owner of a film tells us on the copyright page that it was shared without their permission and we agree, the film is removed, the uploader receives a strike, and every coin people paid to watch it goes back to them.
• Earnings wait 7 days. A maker's share of each unlock can be cashed out 7 days after the unlock, so a claim can still be answered. A share already paid for a film removed this way is taken back.
• Three strikes and the uploader's Cinema is closed: they can no longer upload films.
• Age. Films with violence or adult scenes must be marked 16+ or 18+. People under 18 do not see films marked 16+ or 18+, and nobody under 18 can upload a film. Sexual content is not allowed on Cinema at all, whatever its age mark.
• Honest titles, covers and trailers. No misleading names, pictures or trailers, and nothing that pretends to be another film.
• Unlocking. Unlocking a film costs the number of coins shown before you unlock it, once: the film is then yours to rewatch, any time, while it is on BeloPle. Coins spent on an unlock are final, except when the film is removed for breaking these rules, when they come back to you.
• For watching on BeloPle. Recording, downloading or re-uploading the paid part of a film is not allowed, and the app does not allow the paid part to be recorded.
• BeloPle may check, hold or remove any film that breaks these Terms or the Community Guidelines.

Live broadcasts

Live is not recorded and cannot be replayed. Everything above applies to a live exactly as it applies to a video, and a broadcast that breaks the rules can be ended while it is running.

Coins, gifts and creator earnings

• Coins you buy are a prepaid balance for spending inside BeloPle, on gifts, on unlocking Cinema films and on advertising campaigns. They are not money, they cannot be transferred outside BeloPle, and coins you buy can never be cashed out.
• Gifts sent to a creator are final. A gift cannot be reversed once sent, so please be sure before you send one.
• Earnings. Creators earn from the gifts people send them on videos, in Lives and on Q o D. Creators accepted into monetization can also earn from views, at the rates shown in the app. Earnings can be cashed out from the wallet once the balance passes the minimum shown there, to the mobile money number or other details you confirm.
• We may withhold or reverse earnings we believe came from fake accounts, bought engagement, or content that broke these Terms — including content that was not yours to post.
• Coin prices, gift prices and earning rates can change. Changes apply from the day they are announced and never to coins you have already spent.

Advertising

BeloPle shows ads. Where an ad is aimed at a place, an age range or an interest, it uses what you told us when you signed up and what you do in the app — never the content of your private messages. An advertiser buying a campaign is responsible for what their advertisement says and for it being lawful where it runs.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings; your content goes with it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, or where we are required to by law. If we close your account, any unpaid earnings you had legitimately earned are still paid to you.

What we do not promise

BeloPle is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and working, but we do not promise it will never be interrupted, never lose data, or never contain content you would rather not see. We are not responsible for what other people post, and to the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we make a change that matters, we will say so in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use BeloPle after that means you accept the new version.

Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda, and disputes are dealt with in the courts of Rwanda.
