Child Safety Standards

BeloPle is a short-video and live-streaming app. These are our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). They apply to everyone who uses BeloPle, in every country, and to every kind of content on it: videos, posts, photos, live broadcasts, comments, messages, profiles and usernames.

1. What is prohibited

BeloPle has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation.

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind — real, edited, drawn, or generated — including sharing it, requesting it, linking to it, or describing where to find it.
Sexualising a minor in any way: sexual comments about a child, sexualised images of a child, or content that presents a minor in a sexual context.
Grooming: contacting or befriending a minor in order to sexually abuse or exploit them, on BeloPle or elsewhere.
Sextortion: threatening a minor with the release of intimate images.
Trafficking or advertising a child for sexual purposes.
Live broadcasts that show, encourage or solicit any of the above.

Any of these results in immediate removal of the content and permanent removal of the account, without warning and without the option to appeal.

2. Who may use BeloPle

You must be at least 13 years old to create a BeloPle account. Signup asks for a date of birth and refuses anyone younger. Accounts found to belong to a child under 13 are removed.

3. How we detect and remove it

Automated review of every upload. Every video and photo posted to BeloPle is examined by an automated moderation system before and after it is shown. Content it flags as sexual is held for human review or removed.
Human moderators. BeloPle's moderation team reviews flagged content and user reports and can remove content, restrict features, and ban accounts.
Reports from you. Every video, post, live broadcast, comment, message and profile on BeloPle can be reported from inside the app (see section 4).
Blocking. Any user can block any other user, which stops all contact between them.

4. How to report child safety concerns

In the app: open the video, post, live, profile or message → tap the ⋯ (more) button → Report → choose the reason. Reports about child safety are reviewed with the highest priority.

By email: beloplesupport@gmail.com — write "Child safety" in the subject. Do not attach the material itself; send the link or the username, and we will find it.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.

5. What we do with reports

We remove confirmed CSAE content and permanently ban the accounts involved.
We report confirmed child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the national police of the country concerned, as the law requires.
We preserve the evidence needed for such reports and hand it over to law enforcement on a lawful request.
We cooperate with law-enforcement investigations into child sexual abuse and exploitation.

6. Compliance with law

BeloPle complies with the child protection laws that apply to it, including the laws on child sexual abuse material of the countries where it operates and the reporting obligations that come with them. These standards are reviewed and updated as those laws and Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy change.
