BeloPle Challenge
One theme. Your best video. Africa watching.
Every BeloPle Challenge gives creators one theme and a few days to make their best video for it. Your country can have its own challenge, and some run for the whole of Africa at once.
How it works
- A challenge appears at the top of Public in the BeloPle app, with its theme, its dates and its prizes.
- Tap Join, read the rules, and confirm.
- Make your video. When you post it, BeloPle asks if it goes into the challenge. One video per person.
- Share your video. Your own score, in a ring, shows how you are doing while the challenge runs.
- When it ends, the winners stand on the podium for everyone to see.
How videos are scored
Real people watching
Most of the score comes from what really happens on your video: views, likes, comments, shares, and people who come to BeloPle through the link you shared.
Judges
The rest comes from judges chosen by BeloPle, who look at originality, skill and how well the video fits the theme.
Only genuine engagement
Bought likes and views, fake accounts and anything that breaks the community guidelines do not count.
Prizes
Each challenge shows its prizes before you join: in your country's own currency for a country challenge, in dollars for an Africa-wide one. Prizes go into the winner's BeloPle wallet, to cash out with mobile money in supported countries or to send as gifts. Challenges with money prizes are for adults 18 and over.
