Download BeloPle for Android
The official BeloPle app is on Google Play, and it is free. Install it to watch and post videos, join Lives, share Daily moments, answer the Question of the Day and follow creators from across Africa. Your story starts here.
Install BeloPle in three steps
- Open the official listing. Tap Get it on Google Play on this page. The button goes straight to the official BeloPle app, so you never install a copy by mistake.
- Tap Install. BeloPle is free to download.
- Open BeloPle and join. Sign up with your email or continue with Google, and start watching right away.
What you get in the app
Video tools
Record in the app with colour filters, cuts, text, stickers and a sound, or post a video from your phone. Choose who sees each one.
Belo and Following
Belo, your For You feed, brings you videos from across Africa. Following keeps you close to the creators you love.
Live
Watch and join Lives with comments, gifts and polls. Adults who meet the requirements shown in the app can go Live from their phone.
Q o D
One Question. Many Voices. One Africa. Answer questions from your country and the Africa Q o D, or suggest one of your own. A great question or answer can win you new followers and gifts (18+).
Public and Chat
Post photos and text in the Public feed, and chat one to one with photos and voice notes.
Free to download, free to use
BeloPle costs nothing to download or to use. Coins are optional: they are what people use to send gifts to the creators they love. Coins are bought on the website, belople.com (Wallet, then Get coins), with mobile money in supported African countries. They are not sold inside the Android app. Gifts, coins and cash-out are for adults 18+.
How to sign in
- With your email: sign up with your email address and a password.
- With Google: continue with your Google account, with no separate BeloPle password to remember.
Either way, you are asked for your birthday once. You cannot change it yourself later, and it decides which features your account can use. Your account works in the app and on the web, so you can sign in on both.
Not on Android? Use BeloPle on the web
On an iPhone, a tablet or a computer, open belople.com in your browser. You can browse videos and the Public feed even before you sign in. Here is how the web and the app compare:
- In both: watching videos, photo and text posts, search, profiles and following, messages with voice notes, watching Lives with comments and gifts, Studio and the wallet.
- Only in the Android app: recording and editing videos, going Live, Daily and Q o D.
- Only on the website: buying coins, paying for ad campaigns and uploading songs to BeloPle Music.
