BeloPle for creators
Your voice. Your audience. Your story.
BeloPle is built for African voices, stories and creativity. Share videos, photos, Daily moments and Lives, find the people who love what you make, and unlock opportunities to earn from your content and community.
Create. Connect. Get discovered.
The Belo feed is ranked by how viewers really watch, and creators who are still growing get an extra push in discovery. Your next great video can find its audience.
Reach people across Africa
Give each video a category and a target country, so BeloPle can show it to more of the people it was made for.
Discovery for new voices
Hashtags, search and People to follow suggestions help viewers find you.
A community, not just views
Comments, reactions, reposts, shares and messages. Your followers see your new videos in their Following feed.
Everything you need to create
Short videos
Record in the Android app with colour filters, cuts, text, stickers and a sound, or upload from your browser on belople.com.
Photos and text
Post up to ten photos with a sound and a place, or share your thoughts in a text post, in the Public feed.
Daily
A photo or video that lasts 24 hours, for your followers. They can like it and reply to you privately, and you can see who viewed it.
Live
Go Live from the Android app once you meet the requirements shown in the app. Viewers comment, send hearts and gifts and vote in your polls.
Q o D
One Question. Many Voices. One Africa. Suggest a question for your country, or give the answer people remember. When people love your question or your voice, they can follow you and send you gifts.
Music
Musicians can upload songs on BeloPle Music. They appear in the app's sound picker, so creators can add them to their posts.
Studio: see what your audience loves
Studio is your creator hub, in the app and on the web. See your views, watch time, followers gained and how much of your videos people finish, then open any video for its own insights. Your earnings and your campaigns are there too.
Post. Get followed. Get paid.
Your followers can support you directly, and creators who grow can unlock more ways to earn.
Gifts from your followers
Followers can send gifts on your videos, during your Lives, and on your Q o D questions and answers (gifts on answers open once you have posted a few public videos). Gifts become earnings in your wallet.
Monetization
Meet the requirements shown in the app, then apply in the app or on the web. Once you are accepted, the views on your videos can earn for you too, paid by BeloPle to the account you give when you apply.
Cash out
Cash out your gift earnings from your wallet to mobile money in supported countries. In the app you can also choose a bank account or PayPal. Your mobile money number is confirmed with a code sent to your email first.
For adults: gifts, coins, cash-out and going Live are for people aged 18 and over. What you earn depends on your content and your community, and it is never guaranteed.
Promote your content
Want more people to see a video, a photo or a link? Build a campaign with Promote: choose a goal (views, clicks or follows), one country or everywhere, interests, and how many people a day for how many days.
- Every campaign is reviewed by BeloPle before it runs, and is never shown to users under 18.
- Campaigns are paid for on BeloPle Payment, with mobile money in supported African countries or with coins.
Ambassadors and what comes next
BeloPle invites selected creators to become ambassadors. As they help BeloPle grow, ambassadors earn rewards such as extra discovery and the blue tick.
More creator programmes are on the way. Follow BeloPle's official channels, listed at the bottom of this page, to hear about them first.
