Your music, where Africa makes videos
BeloPle Music is not just a place to listen. It is Listen → Discover → Use the sound → Create → Share → Gift the artist. Every video made with your song carries it to new people, and every fan who loves it can send you a gift.
Why artists put their music on BeloPle
Your song in thousands of videos
Anyone on BeloPle can tap Use this sound and make a video with your song. Each of those videos plays your music to everyone who watches it, and under the video it says your song's name and yours.
Gifts from your fans
Fans can send a gift straight on your song, from the player or from your artist page. The gift goes to you, the artist, and becomes earnings in your wallet.
Earn when videos use your song
Mark a song Paid and you also get a share of what BeloPle keeps when videos made with it receive gifts. The person who made the video never loses anything, so creators are free to use your music.
A real chance to rise
🔥 Trending on BeloPle follows this week's listens, videos made with a song, gifts, shares and saves. A new artist with a great week can pass a famous one.
Your own artist page
Your photo, your songs, the videos made with your music, and a Follow button. It is where your fans find everything you do and where your fanbase grows.
Listened to even offline
Fans can download your songs inside the BeloPle app and keep listening with no internet. The song stays in the app — it is not handed out as a file to copy around.
Music in the BeloPle app
With the latest BeloPle app for Android, Music has its own tab, between Public and Chat:
- Home with featured songs, Trending, new releases, and shelves for Gospel / Worship, Afrobeat, Amapiano, Hip-Hop, R&B, Love, Traditional / African, Bongo Flava, Reggae, Zouk and more.
- Search for any song or artist.
- A player with a turning record, shuffle, repeat, lyrics, and the buttons that matter: 🎁 Gift, Use this sound, Download and Share.
- Videos using this sound — every video made with a song, in one place.
- Downloads — songs saved to listen to without internet.
Only real artists: how verification works
The Music tab shows songs from verified artists only, so nobody can call themselves an artist and collect on somebody else's song. Getting verified is free and takes one minute:
- Sign in on this page and tap 🎵 I'm an artist.
- BeloPle shows you a short code.
- Record a selfie video of about ten seconds saying the code and your artist name, and send it.
- BeloPle's team checks it and you get an email. The video is deleted once it has been checked.
Verified artists carry a blue tick everywhere in Music. Verification is for people aged 18 and over.
Put up a song in minutes
What you add
The audio (up to eight minutes), the song name, artist name, a cover picture, genre, language, country, release date, lyrics if you want people to sing along, and whether it is explicit.
Published at once
As soon as it is up, the song is in the app: in the sound picker for everyone's videos, and — once you are verified — in Music, search and your artist page.
Make it easy to find
Use the song's real name, add the artist name, a cover and the right genre. People search by song and by artist, and the genre decides which shelf it sits on.
Your rights are protected
Every upload asks the uploader to confirm they own the song or have permission to share it. The exact same audio file cannot be put up twice. If your song or video is on BeloPle without your permission, send a claim from the copyright page — no account needed. BeloPle takes down what breaks the rules, and accounts that repeatedly post other people's work lose them. See our terms.
Post. Get followed. Get paid.
Your fans pay you — right here in Africa. Put up your first song above, then tap 🎵 I'm an artist to get verified.
Questions artists ask
Is it free to put my music on BeloPle?
Yes. Uploading songs and getting verified as an artist are free.
How do I get paid?
Fans can send gifts on your songs, and gifts on videos that use your Paid songs earn you a share too. Gifts become earnings in your wallet, which you can cash out in supported countries. Earnings depend on your music and your fans and are never guaranteed.
Why is my song not in the Music tab?
The Music tab shows verified artists only. Tap I'm an artist on this page and send the short selfie video; once you are verified your songs appear there.
Can people download my songs?
Fans can save a song inside the BeloPle app to listen offline. It plays only inside the app.
