BeloPle Live puts you in the room with creators from across Africa, in real time. Watch in the Android app or in your browser, join the chat, send hearts and gifts, and vote when the host asks the room a question.
Watch a Live, wherever you are
A Live is a conversation, not a broadcast you sit through. Open one in the BeloPle Android app or on the web at belople.com, sign in, and you are part of it: the host sees your name, reads your comments and answers you on camera.
Chat in real time
Comment as it happens and watch the room answer. In the app, the host can pin the best comment above the stream.
Send hearts
Tap to send hearts up the screen. It is the quickest way to tell a host you are loving it.
Vote in polls
When the host asks the room a question, pick your answer and see where everyone else landed.
See who is here
In the app, open the viewer list to see who else is watching. A Live feels different when you know the room.
Show love with gifts
Gifts are how viewers say "this one is worth it". Pick a gift, send it, and the whole room sees it land. There are gifts for every mood, from a single Heart all the way up to the Universe.
- For adults. Sending and receiving gifts is for people aged 18 and over.
- Sent with coins. Coins are bought on the website, belople.com, with mobile money in supported African countries. They are not sold inside the app.
- Supporters get noticed. The more someone gifts, the higher their gifter badge, shown by their name in Lives in the app.
- Hosts can earn. Gifts become earnings for the creator, and earnings can be cashed out from the wallet. See BeloPle for creators.
Go live yourself
Your voice. Your audience. Your story. Going live is the closest you can get to your followers: no editing, no second take, just you and the people who came to see you.
Hosting happens in the BeloPle Android app. The website is for watching and joining in; you cannot start a Live from a browser.
Live hosting is open to adults aged 18 and over who meet the requirements shown in the app. If anything is still missing, the app tells you when you try.
How it works
- Open BeloPle on your Android phone and choose Live.
- Give your Live a title so people know what it is about.
- Go live now, or pick a time and announce it to your followers.
- Talk, answer the chat, run a poll, and thank the people sending gifts.

Schedule ahead
Pick a time and your followers hear about it straight away. Plans change? Start early, move the time or cancel.
Pin a comment
Hold the best question, or the house rules, above the stream for everyone watching in the app.
Hide and mute
Hide a comment from the room, or mute a viewer's comments for the rest of your Live. For anything more serious, block and report work across BeloPle.
Run polls
Ask the room a question, one poll at a time. Close it when you are ready and read out the result.
Set a gift goal
Name what you are aiming for and let your viewers help you get there, live on screen.
Your Live summary
When you finish, see how it went: viewers over time, likes, comments, shares, gifts, new followers and the countries your audience came from.
Live means live
BeloPle Lives are not saved as replays. When a Live ends, it is over, which is exactly what makes it worth showing up for. Follow the creators you love so you know when they are on.

No. Going live happens in the BeloPle Android app. The website is for watching and taking part.
Who can go live on BeloPle?
